DDS208i is an upgraded version of DD1208 digital audio division, which adds an AoIP network interface to enable it to run on the AoIP control/monitoring system, completing signal acquisition and remote transmission functions based on AoIP.
Features
High impedance bypass acquisition and analysis of 2-channel AES/EBU input signals, including AES3 errors such as PLL loss of lock
Measure the baseband amplitude and promptly submit an alarm when an error occurs or when the input baseband amplitude is too low
Perform high impedance bypass extraction and analysis on 8 AES/EBU output signals, including consistency comparison analysis with input and impedance matching analysis of output links
When the output signal is inconsistent with the input, or when there is a mismatch fault such as open circuit or short circuit in the AES/EBU output link, an alarm can be submitted
Panel LED lights display level and AES3 status, with local headphone output
AES3 decoding of high impedance collected input and output baseband signals, and then converting them into AoIP streams for remote monitoring and listening
Separate design of signal power supply (5V) and control power supply (3.3V) to prevent mutual interference
The dual relay performs power-off direct connection (input A to output 1, input B to output 2), and when turned off, the sound component is in a disconnected state, which does not affect the impedance matching and transmission performance of the direct connection link
GPI/O and RS485 interfaces, capable of connecting alarm devices
Customizable baseband eye diagram acquisition and analysis subsystem with high-speed analog-to-digital conversion circuit, capable of high-speed sampling of input and output baseband signals
Restore the time base and generate a simple eye diagram for real-time transmission quality analysis (baseband distortion and jitter). The eye diagram data can be sent to the monitoring system for presentation via the internet
The eye diagram subsystem can provide warning and fault analysis basis for important broadcast baseband links from the live broadcast room and to the transmission link
